Eastern Western Motor Group is to start work on a major Toyota and Lexus expansion project.
The group has been appointed as Toyota dealers for both Dundee & Perth and as Lexus dealers for Dundee.
Eastern Western group managing director Keith Duncan posted on LinkedIn: “Lexus has never been represented in Dundee and speaking as a Dundonian, I am delighted the luxury brand is being launched in my home town.
“The Toyota businesses will trade as ‘Barnetts Toyota’ expanding the respected Dundee brand ‘Barnetts’ to four brands in the city. The Lexus business will adopt the normal geographic identifier for Lexus sites, trading as Lexus Dundee.”
The Dundee site will also be home to Eastern Western’s own brand, used car supermarket Car Deal Warehouse.
The new Toyota business in Perth sees the Toyota brand join the Perth Motor Mile for the first time, a few hundred yards from EW’s Grassicks BMW & MINI business. It will trade as Barnetts Toyota.
The new additions will see Eastern Western Motor Group expand to 46 businesses, including six Toyota, three Lexus and five Car Deal Warehouse sites.
