It’s common knowledge that people get excited about new cars, and often pre-order them based on a few photos and specs. However, concept cars offer something new and break with tradition. Some concept cars never become a reality, but the best-designed and most-appealing ones make it to the road. At the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, five cars stood out: the BMW M Next, the Mercedes-Benz EQS, the Audi AI: Trail, the Hongqi S9 Concept, and the Cupra Tavascan. The BMW M Next manages to look old and classic, but also new and exciting with its winged door design and 591 brake horsepower petrol-electric hybrid. The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS is all-electric with 470bhp and a sleek door design. The Audi AI: Trail looks like it was driven in from a science-fiction movie, and comes with companion drones. The Hongqi S9 Concept is a statement car that is all-electric and has a similar look to the Light Racers mobile slots game. Lastly, the Cupra Tavascan offers a unique front design that resembles the Batmobile and boasts the style of a sports coupe with the power of an SUV.
