Ineos Automotive, a UK-based company, has announced the launch of its electric SUV in 2026. The Ineos electric SUV, with “world-class off-road capability,” will be built by Magna in Austria. The Fisker Ocean and the Jaguar I-Pace are already being produced at the Magna plant. Nissan unveiled the Arizon electric SUV concept at the Shanghai Auto Show, built on the same global platform as the Ariya with added technology for the Chinese market.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450e plug-in hybrid can travel up to 40 miles without gasoline, thanks to its larger 23.3-kwh battery pack. It is also one of the few plug-in hybrids that can be fast-charged in about 10 minutes.
