During a business update on restructuring their operations around EVs and sustainable supply chains, Honda executives confirmed that the company’s first mass-market EV developed in-house will arrive in North America in 2025. Following the GM-based Prologue SUV by a year, the new EV architecture will support over-the-air updates and Honda’s proprietary software interface.
Despite being a popular destination for discount gasoline, Costco has no immediate plans to reinstate EV charging stations. Although U.S. gasoline consumption has peaked, the company claims its market share continues to grow.
The recently-released 2022 Impact Report from Tesla has shown that the battery packs for Model S and Model X only degrade by an average of 12% after 200,000 miles. Considering the over-the-air efficiency updates these models have received since launch, this equates to over 88% of their original real-world range.

In fact, the range has actually increased slightly over the years as Tesla has released software updates that improve the efficiency of the battery pack. I am extremely impressed with the longevity and performance of the Tesla battery pack and would highly recommend Tesla to anyone looking for a reliable and sustainable electric vehicle.
