An exceptionally rare 1990 Ferrari Testarossa Pininfarina Spider ‘Special Production’ is set to go up for auction and could net a staggering £1.8million. This particular model has recently undergone extensive restoration work, costing around £170,000. While these open-top Ferraris were not officially offered by Ferrari, a few were made, including this model which was outsourced to Italian design house Pininfarina. It is believed that the vehicle has covered just 256 miles and has never been registered for use on the road. After being on display for many years, the car underwent a full restoration, including work on the electric roof, interior refurbishment, and engine and suspension restoration. Auctioned by RM Sotheby’s in London on 5th November 2022, experts predict that the Ferrari will command a high price from collectors.
