carmaker HiPhi intends to debut in Europe in 2023, with the possibility of launching sales in the UK afterward. The manufacturer unveiled its third model, the HiPhi Y, during the Shanghai Motor Show and disclosed plans to penetrate the European market. Following this, HiPhi will introduce its cars to the Middle East. Hubs in Munich and Oslo, similar to its design centres in China, will aid its move into the European market. After earning individual vehicle approval from the European Union, HiPhi’s X SUV and Z Digital GT vehicles will constitute their debut in key European markets, indicative of HiPhi’s first step outside of China.
Dedicated to building a global high-end brand from China, HiPhi Founder, Chairman, and CEO David Ding said, “In 2023, we will launch a global brand strategy and expand into overseas markets, with the European and Middle Eastern markets the focus of our first wave of expansion.”
