Manheim set to handle 8,000 cars annually from Big Motoring World

Big Motoring World has renewed its partnership agreement with Cox Automotive for another five years. The company will send as many as 8,000 cars a year through Manheim auctions, with more than 200,000 valued and appraised. The car supermarket group will exclusively remarket vehicles from its five retail locations and BigWantsYourCar.com, its online car buying business, through Manheim Auction Services. Its buying team will continue to acquire stock via Manheim and Dealer Auction. “Cox Automotive has been a loyal partner since the mid-90s and I’m happy to commit again to our relationship,” said Big Motoring World CEO Peter Waddell. “We talk a lot about being a partner to our customers, not just a supplier, and our relationship with Pete and Big Motoring World illustrates the difference perfectly,” added Martin Forbes, president of Cox Automotive International. Big Motoring World runs supermarkets in West Malling, Blue Bell Hill, Enfield and Peterborough. In June 2023, it will open its sixth site, in Wimbledon. The firm launched its consumer car buying business, BigWantsYourCar.com, in 2021.
