Twelve classic Ferraris worth more than £15 million are available for purchase, and surprisingly, all of them have low mileage. The elegant supercars are part of an extensive private collection to be auctioned at the same time. One of the Italian red machines has travelled only 15 miles.

The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta is the standout car of the collection, which will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s in Monaco on May 12. It is expected to fetch between £8.1 million and £9.7 million.
The vehicle, which has a 3.0-litre V12 engine, was once owned by actor Steve McQueen and is one of only 37 short-wheelbase berlinettas built by Ferrari. It is finished in red with a black leather interior.
A 2001 550 Barchetta model adds a slightly more modern flavour to the collection and has a 5.5-litre V12 engine. It has done just 1,800 miles and is expected to sell for between £1.6 million and £1.9 million.
The collection also includes a 1962 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, which has a 3.0-litre V12 engine, and a 1962 250 GTO, which is one of only 36 built and has a 3.0-litre V12 engine under the bonnet.
The GTO is the most valuable car in the collection and could sell for as much as £23.3 million.
Other cars in the collection include a 1963 250 GT Lusso, a 1967 275
I have always been fascinated by Ferraris and their sleek design. I remember when I was younger, I would see them driving around town and I would be in awe. I never thought I would ever be able to own one, let alone see one up close. So, when I saw that twelve classic Ferraris were up for auction, I was really intrigued. I was surprised to see that all of them had low mileage and that one of them had only travelled 15 miles. It just goes to show that these cars are built to last. I would love to be able to purchase one of these cars someday, but for now, I will just have to admire them from afar.
