Preview of the Latest Classic Car Sale at CCA by Mike Brewer

The Classic Car Auctions sale will be held on Saturday 25 March and Sunday 26 March, showcasing a plethora of classic vehicles to suit every budget and taste. Mike Brewer, our very own Classic Car expert, picks out a few highlights for the upcoming sale.

The sale on Saturday kicks off with the 1974 Reliant ‘Rebel with a Cause’ donated to Practical Classics magazine and completed at last year’s show, with all proceeds going to NHS charities. Expect a hotly contested bidding war! Another standout vehicle is the 1963 Bedford CA Dormobile, known as ‘Colin the Camper’, restored by Mike Brewer and ‘Elvis’ Priestley on the popular series, Wheeler Dealers. With a guide price of £14,000-£18,000, it is sure to turn heads.

Visitors will also find more modern classics, such as the 1996 BMW M3 Evolution in Estoril Blue or the 2010 Ford Focus RS with a guide price of £55,000-£65,000. The sale on Sunday features low mileage classics, including the lovely original condition of 1978 Ford Escort Ghia Mk 2 with just 9515 miles as well as the 1981 DeLorean DMC12 with just 3788 miles on it.

For those interested in restoring a classic car, the garage find 1971 Jaguar E-Type S3 V12 Coupe has been with its owner for 29 years and carries a guide price of £18,000-£22,000. The commercial vehicles also join the sale, the meticulously restored 1975 Ford Transit Custom Pick Up remains in show-winning condition and carries a guide price of £18,000-£22,000.
