Salon Privé London 2023: A Phenomenal Success, Attaining Legendary Status with a Sell-Out.

The second Salon Privé London event has come to a close at Royal Hospital Chelsea, having attracted over 18,000 visitors during the three-day extravaganza. The event hosted celebrity guests such as F1 World Champion Jenson Button, renowned television presenter Richard Hammond and formula one driver Lewis Hamilton’s father Anthony Hamilton. The event also showcased some of the world’s finest cars and luxury brands with many debuting products in the UK for the first time. New models unveiled included the Maserati GranTurismo and the Maserati Grecale SUV, both from the Italian premium brand’s range. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presented the new Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II Extended for the first time, while the Hennessey 1,817bhp Venom F5 Roadster made its debut, alongside the electric Rimac Nevera and hybrid Delage D12, representing all three types of powertrain. Other notable new cars on display included the Wiesmann Project Thunderball, the ITA001 Porsche-based commission, the 2023 model year Genesis GV60 featuring world-first Face Connect technology, the Polestar 3 electric luxury SUV, and the limited-run Polestar 2 BST edition 270. Montblanc led the new product launches by presenting its new 8000 Capsule collection for the first time since its global reveal just weeks earlier in Geneva. Famous British luxury jewellery brand Boodles also presented Friday’s Boodles Best Hat Competition, where the prize was a classic diamond set pendant worth £2,600. Moreover, food and hospitality were first class, with a three-course luncheon, delicious Pommery Champagne, cocktails from the London Essence Co, and fine wines from Chateau La Gordonne. The event also featured some fun activities for the guests, including exclusive VIP hospitality at The Sloane and DJs keeping the party going well into the evening on Thursday and Friday. Next up is the Salon Privé Concours d’Elegance at Blenheim Palace from 30 August to 2 September.
